Hi, I'm Vic!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself...

I’ve lived in Marlow in Bucks in the beautiful Thames Valley for 20 years and I absolutely love outdoor exercise.

I graduated with a degree in Sports science with business from Manchester Metropolitan University and having competed for fun for many years I decided to qualify as a triathlon coach in 2016.

I’m experienced in competing in both Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons (Blenheim/Windsor/Marlow), I ran in the 2012 London Marathon, I’ve done several Reading Halves and many other smaller events along the way. I love the speed and the buzz I get from cycling and I competed in the FT London Cycle Sportive in 2014. But having been county level swimmer in my youth, I probably feel most at home in the water. I’m a regular of the Henley Swim (and Club to pub!) and I'm a founder member of the Marlow New Year’s Day Thames Swim. In the summer months I’m often in the river at sunrise, enjoying the calm, smooth water of nature’s gorgeous swimming pool. Not much beats a swim in open water to start your day!

Coaching Experience

I privately coach people looking to do their first open water swim, looking to develop their cycling techniques and acting as a pace coach for longer distance cycling. Apart from my private clients, I’m a coach part-time for Evo triathlon club, and I also train the Holy Trinity Cross Country team of 50, very noisy 7-11 year olds!

The rest of the time
I’m either juggling kids,
or helping run our family business.
Life’s busy!
